Why Nature Sounds Are So Effective for Insomnia

Are you all sleeping comfortably? You Know "Why Nature Sounds Are So Effective for Insomnia"?

Insomnia is one of the most common social problems experienced or suffered by many people today and has a considerable negative impact on daily life. Sleeping pills may be an effective temporary solution, but they are more likely to have a negative impact on your health in the long run, making it more desirable to improve insomnia in a natural way.

I have a friend who mixes Myslee (a type of sleeping pill that decreases brain function) with alcohol and gets high every night. We hope that you will at least consider choosing a safer and more secure medication, such as Belsomra, a type of sleeping pill that strengthens natural sleepiness, or Melatonin tablets, which have the same ingredients as the sleep hormone secreted by the pineal gland.

As an alternative to medication, we suggest that you relax your body and mind while listening to pleasant nature sounds to help you fall asleep.

The sounds of nature have a wide variety of moods, such as the sound of waves, waterfalls, streams, insects, and rain. These natural sounds contain "1/f fluctuation" and have the healing effect of relaxing the body and mind by guiding the brain to alpha waves.

Naturally, sleeping in a relaxed and stress-free state leads to better sleep. Since time immemorial, humans have lived as part of nature. The sounds of nature are very effective in improving insomnia, as they help to stabilize the mind and relax it due to the memories engraved in our DNA.

When the autonomic nervous system, which controls sleep, is disturbed, the body's internal clock becomes unregulated and sleep-related disorders are more likely to occur. The autonomic nervous system is composed of sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves. Sympathetic nerves trigger the stress response, while parasympathetic nerves trigger the relaxation response.

During sleep, the parasympathetic nervous system is dominant and the sympathetic nervous system is suppressed. Therefore, the quality of sleep is greatly influenced by the parasympathetic nervous system. Listening to nature sounds stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system and improves sleep disorders.

In addition, insomniacs generally have shallow sleep and tend to wake up many times during the night. However, listening to (playing) natural sounds cancels out and masks the sounds of daily life and noise. This reduces various external sound stimuli that may occur during sleep and creates an environment for deeper sleep, thus making it harder to wake up and achieving a deeper sleep.

If you have trouble sleeping anyway, why don't you try going to bed while listening to nature sounds to feel these effects?

With good quality nature sounds as your sleep companion, you will have a healthy "sleep"
